  About Society

TPSY's Mission
:

To endeavor for the development of knowledge about space and space sciences among the professionals and general public through research, public education, popular science and dialogue.

The TPSY intends to focus on the development of youth talent due to the obvious reason that space science demands the spirit of inquiry and adventure apart from academic competence. The new research programs pertaining to space exploration, Moon-Mars human landing, Extra Terrestrial Life, exploitation of outer space resources, space colonization etc, demand challenging minds. The youth are therefore natural choice. They are capable of taking up to challenge in the realm of unknown and propose innovative solutions. In this connection, even if the society is able to attract a small percent of qualified engineers/scientists, intelligent and enthusiastic student it would result in the creation of a sizable pool of talent in space sciences, which may well determine the future of maintained on this planet.
